Last few days for the TEXT CHALLENGE at Stampotique

The last few days to submit your artwork and join in with the TEXT CHALLENGE at Stampotique are here so I have made a couple of straightforward mat and layer cards....

The first card is for all those people out there having to care for someone and for those being cared for.
The text element was created using a template/stencil.
Stamps by STAMPOTIQUE- 'UNDER MY WING (Terri Richardson)
DANIEL'S HEARTS (Daniel Torrente)

This next card is more subtle in the text background department...so much so you have to look quite hard as its written quite softly on the preprinted paper (the green/pink main outer layer).
STAMPOTIQUE stamps again..
.JACOB (Tracy Scott)
SPIRAL DAYDREAM (Daniel T)
IN STITCHES- this is the background 'striped' lines not the border stitch (Josie Cirincione

Thanks for visiting :) x

I really love this card Jo😄

Can you tell me how you achieved the 3D look to the stitching?

Thanks Julie, I replied to your FB page. Its very simple, just hand drawn lines with white highlights finishing with a dot at one end. (That ok? for slightly more detail, check your messages on FB x)

What gorgeous cards you have created for this great challenge. I especially love the two background papers in the 'under my wing' card. Did you make them yourself with a gelli plate or are they preprinted papers. If they are preprinted I would love to know the make and name of them please. Thank you for sharing this fab cards.
Warmest best wishes from France.

Hi Susanne...the blue outerlayer is preprinted paper on Under my Wing ( Messy Head by 7dots studio), but the red/brow/orangey background I made with spraying onto a plastic bag then stamping on top, adding white pen, distress inks and just generally working it until it reached a stage I was happy with ....hope thats ok.
