New Year, New Leaf, New Team members!

(The above card was made using Stampotique stamps.
'Leaf' , one of my designs and Stampotique artist Janet Klein 'Turn over a new leaf'), available directly from Stampotique or here in the UK from Happy Daze.

Wishing you all a good year ahead.

Any aims? Turning over of new leaves? Ambitions?

For me, I'm picking up where last year went all weird on me and hopefully getting to grips with some of the things that escaped me.

What ever your goals, however big or small, I hope you reach them.

Talking of which, I don't know if you've spotted the link on my side bar, Stampotique are on the lookout for new team members.

Heres what Carol from Stampotique Originals has to say...
"As you all know, nothing lasts forever and through this year we've lost a few DT members due to life happenings. We are once again in search of new additions to our design team family. If you are interested, here are two bits to chomp on BEFORE sending us a yeah or nay and your blog link:

1. You must have a blog and be familiar and comfortable with frequent entries.

2. You must be dedicated as the entire team is only as good as it's weakest link. Everyone depends on each other and Stampotique DEPENDS ON THE DESIGN TEAM. We would ask that you provide maybe 4 items per month using Stampotique images (we provide the rubber; you choose the images). There might be a time when we would ask you to use a specific image.

When you send your email to Carol@Stampotique.com there are 4 items to note;

1. your blog address,
2. your name,
3.what state or country you live in and
4. which one of the Stampotique artists is your favorite.(ie Stampotique stamp designers)

PLEASE remember to list those 4 items. Thank you.

Depending on the number of applicants received, we may or may not respond to all.

The CALL OPENS NOW and will CLOSE ON JANUARY 10th, unless we find new members before that date. (we'll be sure to let you all know as a group). Spread the word, tell your friends; tell any men stampers that you know!

Thank you all who are interested and BONNE CHANCE!"

It's THAT simple!!

Stampotique look for a broad spectrum of styles...neat, tidy, messy, distressed, ...errr, Happy, Grumpy and Dopey (lol, Carol could be Snow White lol)

Anyway...Carol would love to hear from you, what have you got to lose?

Wishing you all the best, and good luck if you put yourself forward for the team- I look forward to working with those that make it through this time. It's a great team to belong to. Well rewarded for the amount of work expected and a very friendly welcoming group.

And what better way to kick start the New Year!!

What a lovely card! The composition looks deceptively effortless.
Best wishes to you too for the new year, and catching those things that escaped.

The clever colouring of the leaves on this card is really amazing - they look so life-like.

I tend not to make resolutions for the New Year - as it's usually so unpredictable!

As for applying to be a Design Team member - I can but dream that one day I will have the skills.

Til then, I wish you and your family a peaceful and healthy new year.

Lovely card Jo. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us through the year. As I have already said, your beautiful bee stamps may just be the stamps of the year for me - I love them and am cooking a project with them for a friend at the moment.

Wishing you a peaceful 2011, hopefully things can get onto a more even keel for you.

Elaine x

Beautiful card, elegantly simple.

I like that leaf stamp, but not sure if I can justify buying another one.

Happy New Year.
