Life's a Beach

Well, perhaps not exactly a beach for me right now...my life's more like the alternative saying at the moment lol, but to brighten up my morning these gorgeous gorgeous carefree happy looking stamps arrived from Crafty Individuals. I have to say, these new beach images are right up there amongst my all time fave Crafty Individuals stamps.

I was all fingers and thumbs, I couldn't ink the rubber fast enough to make this little card so I could post here and do a 'heads up' re their new images .

This card was made very simply by using coloured paper, black ink, a copic marker and a white pen.

The main image from the CI-284 plate. Added extras (neg strip and dotty-ness!) from the CI-283 plate.

I hope the girls that modelled so beautifully for these plates were paid well in treats....bet that north coast sea was freeeeeeeezing lol BRRRRRRRR!!

Here’s hoping your life goes more towards the “beach” end of the spectrum soon!

I LOVE this card, and this stamp too.

It’s years since I last bought a stamp (I already have enough to last me a lifetime :D), but this one is sorely tempting!

The card is just stunning, as are the new stamps. I was taken aback when they arrived today, and so eager to do something with them. I have started a little acrylic 'friends' book, and can't wait to finish it! x

Wonderful card! Those white highlights really make the waves come alive. The movement and detail of this card really make it something special. I love the torn paper treatment at the bottom too - what a great way to use scraps (though I just know that the perfect paper would never already be in scrap form....). Beautiful card. Hope things turn the corner for you.

I can feel the absolutel joy coming from this card. The young girls holding hands and running and jumping into the sea and screaming with delight at the freezing water.

Was it mum who said, ' Right on the count of three go'

I hope it took just one take to get the image.

Brilliant Jo

Stunning card. Love your colour choice, not too bright, with a sense of shabby to it. Lynne M

This is soooo beautiful! I love the effect you've achieved simply with some Copics and a white gel pen on that blue background. So serene and happy!
