One in a Million -box and card

Sitting daydreaming last night I found myself just staring at this new stamp from Stampotique Originals called Heads #6097 when the most simple idea popped into my head and I just had to make it straight away (I was meant to be clearing things away but you know how it is lol).

Using one of the Instant boxes from Papermania, black ink, a selection of paper and some string I made a little gift box (topped with a Prima rose) and matching card for someone who is just 'One in a Million'.

The Papermania boxes are a very simple 'fold on the pre scored lines' and a handy neautral colour (which I retained)so if you stamp directly onto them they look perfectly fine quality wise, especially if you make a matching tag. I covered the inside of the box with a brown and pink spotty paper which I also used for matt and layering the card with so as to give a unified look.

If you are looking for more ideas using Stampotique please check out the Stampotique Designers Blog.
Stampotique stamps are available direct (USA) or from Happy Daze here in the UK.

This week too on One Powerful Hour is the theme of faces which fits this pretty well I think :0)

Have a great weekend everyone, thanks for stopping by xx

You've done it again! I adore this Jo, I can't tell you how much. Pretty please can I have permission to scraplift a version of it one day?

Great idea, Jo - I've done that with an image once, a long time ago but it's good to be reminded and I didn't think of the 'One in a Million' phrase! Love it and love the tag.

The box and tag are just too beautiful to give away - keep it for yourself - on your craft desk - to remind yourself that YOU are the one in the million - and not just arty crafty wise.

You have a very special talent - can you sprinkle of the 'magic' dust on me?

This is fab Jo. Strangely enough, I've just been looking at the new Stampotique stamps on the Stamp Attic website and then checked by blog list and saw your post.
Really lovely to see a great piece of work made from this stamp.

I find these Stampotique stamps so "creepy"...good for Halloween of course :) but you have turned something ugly into something so wonderful. I personally like the Stampotique range but whenever I send a card MADE with these stamps I get awful reactions from people who are not artist/stampers, etc.
Interesting isn´t it.
