Double Trouble with Stampotique!

Today is the second challenge over at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog and this week Kim Howard is hosting and has come up with a colour theme of;

Rose, Light Yellow and Mossy Green with an option of also adding Blue.

As contribution to the challenge I made this card at the top of the post using Karin #6108 I love the expression on her face- she looks a bit manic and so by stamping her twice I created a pair of twins who probably laugh a bit freakily lol. I printed out the Double and Trouble words and drew strings so that the girls could hold them.

Why not join in and take part?! Theres another $15 voucher to be won if you enter- a random draw so all are in with a chance.

Stampotique stamps are available direct or from Happy Daze here in the UK.

These are wonderful! I think all the Stampotique stamps are freaky but I love them. You're giving us wonderful inspiration on how to use them too. Thanks Jo.

Can't join in cos I don't own a stampotique stamp - but I just love the quirkiness of them.

You have made these look just adorably quirky and cut - rather than the weird but wonderful they usually inspire.

Always a treat to visit on here - it is like reading a good book with a twist at the end. You know its going to be good, and think you know what to expect - but you get a lovely surprise that you would never have thought of!

Never predictable - and always different - just what I like best

Hi Jo, how are you? I have never done any of the challenge blogs before, but since I've been doing these past two Stampotique challenges, I'm having so much fun with them. Love your Stampotique work of course. I actually wanted to tell you that I kind of got a great idea from you. That first card you made with the Door and the cat from Stampotique, I loved how you outlined the card border with a black, thin scratchy line to match the lines on the door. I tried doing some similar lines on my entry for this second challenge, hope you don't mind? I now love that look. You don't mind if I borrow it do you?

I also wanted to ask you a question. Since you are in Craft Stamper all the time and also in the variopus Stampington mags, I wanted to know if you have ever had any of your same cards &/or submissions in both Craft Stamper and then also in Stampers Sampler or one of the other Stampington mags? I read all the rules for Stampington and I don't see anything that says you can't show a piece in a Uk magazine and then that same piece in a US magazine. Just wondering if you have ever done that? Thanks so much!
