Good for the soul...

Made from scraps from this weeks crafting (sorry, those pieces can't be shown until Thursday), I sat and made this card after tea tonight (yep my craft stuff has sneaked its way onto the dining table again).

And not a single stamp used lol...its been a while since thats happened.

Was good to make something so simple with no expectations, little thought and just a tube of glue and scissors. And for it to be so pink and girly makes a real change for me, I tend to stay away from sugary stuff most of the time .

It'll make a nice little card for a birthday or a thankyou perhaps.
Sometimes crafting for 5 minutes to take the edge off the serious stuff in life makes a world of difference don't you think?

And it just so happens that this weeks Mixed Media Monday has a Pink theme and Lots To Do has a Brights theme. Just the job. :0)

Don't you just love this new Basic Grey Indian Summer paper line Jo? I've noticed you've made a few pieces using that paper. I'm so in love with that new paper line, it's so beautiful. I can see you like too. I haven't had a chance to make anything yet with mine, but your beautiful work has inspired me to get my butt in gear.
