Flower Power

This is something I put together using stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms. The book is quite large, probably about 8", so you can tell from that how huge that magnificent flower stamp is!
This is one of those items that came about whilst trying to tidy my craft table...as you may have guessed, not much tidying was done once the flower stamp got to the top of the pile of stamps to be put away....so I still have a really untidy work space, but also a handy book ...you can never have too many books :0) The tiny white flower in the corner is a real pressed one. I love to use real flowers in my work.

There is also a competition running, still open for entries until March 31st, with a floral theme run by my friend Susie for Blade Rubber. Why not enter?! The more the merrier!

This weeks theme also over at Created By Hand is ...yes...Flowers!

Lots of links, such a busy post. :0)

Gorgeous book Jo, I keep putting several of the Rumage Bin stamps into my basket, including the little boy, but being a good girl I take them all out again, now where's the fun in that:o(

Looks fab Jo - the grunged flower BGer looks great with the collage stamp! Sorry you got stung by Her Majesty's lot though :(

Sooty piece - nope, no bonfire smell, lol! It did smell faintly of candles just after I did it but I think even that has faded.
