Nature sketch/ideas book

If you take a look over on TGiF this week, you'll see my friend Joanne is guest artist and has chosen the theme Books as the challenge.

Yesterday I posted on my 'Jo Blogs Outdoors' blog about how I'm looking forward to getting outside to get some inspiration from the garden we now have thats full of trees, birds and wildlife, and so I thought I'd start by making myself a sketch book to hold my ideas and bits and bobs.

Made out of old cardboard, paper bags, a foam leaf stamp I've had for years but never used and a saying from ISC.

As always, please click to enlarge the images if you need to see detail.

Lovely Jo - if the inside ends up as gorgeous as the outside you'll have a very intersting book!

Blown away by your originality. I think most people would have thought 'nature, outdoors = shades of those colours' - but that's what is so inspiring about you - you always have a 'twist'.

I love those soft hues - and you have proved that you don't have to smother a book cover - simple is so much better.

But that's it with you - you make 'simple' look just that - but it isn't - well not for me LOL

But I will have a go - later in the week - well not until Thursday actually.

If you read this - I wounder if you could tell me what 'plasma' is. You have been using it in your projects of the latest Craft Stamper magazine and I can't make out what it is.

Many thanks - and I love your Jo Outdoors blog
