A bit of crafting to rest the mind

Todays all going pear shaped and not to plan so I thought a bit of quick crafting would help unfrazzle the brain.

I used lots of utee and gold alongside this bench from Paperbag Studios to try and portray a wrought iron fence look, like you sometimes get at the park.

I couldn't make up my mind really whether it was photostamp enough for the TMTA challenge this week which is 'Photostamps'. I used Versafine onto Stampbord for a super clear image (which is now obscured by utee and layers of other stuff lol)

Very nice effect. I think the bench has a really great 3D look to it. I would enter it as it's perfect for the TMTA challenge.

You make a photo stamp look fantastic ! thanks for sharing your tips and it has inspired me to not look past photo stamps next time I am browsing. This looks great ! Layers Are Good ! (that should be a tee shirt or something)

I love this expression of yours...today went all "pear shaped" - I will now have that stuck in my head (and think of YOU !)

Love, S

Love how you altered the stamp, and even more LOVE the way you turn a phrase....I am SO gonna start using "the day has gone all pear shaped"...I'll be one of the few people in the USA who knows what that means, but that's OK, no-one really listens to me anyhow, LOL!!!

I'm with Carlene. I love the phrase, "the day's gone all pear-shaped."

And I don't even know what a photostamp is, but I like what you've done here!

What a beautiful piece! It reminds me of time wasted sitting on a park bench, watching the world go by. Simply lovely xx
