Stampington

This morning I managed to see copies Stampers' Sampler and Somerset Gallery.

I was looking forward to them as I have a few pieces on show, one of the pieces is 18 months old though and with that kind of time gap it can get a bit scary can't it rofl :0)Comparing this work with the post I made yesterday for Weds Stamper its suprising how much your work can change.

Here are pics of the work featured in the article I have in the June/July Stampers' Sampler in which my friend Isabelle Norris joined me in creating three Tic Tac Toe game boards. We tried to give three very different looks so the boards would appeal to different artists. The composition of the pieces was painstakingly thought about (especially on the Paper Artsy board as we created that one together but never actually met)- unfortunately all the pieces were jumbled before being photographed for the magazine article lol(sob sob lol)so I thought you may like to see the layout (and colours) here.

Here are the three Tic Tac Toe boards together
Left to right...(left)the board Is and I created together, (centre) my beach TTT board, and (right) Is's floral board (which you can also see on the magazine cover shown at the top of this post ).

Here is my beach board using Time to Stamp stamps(in the magazine this looks red but is actually this coral /sand colour)..please click to enlarge to see all the sparkle etc

The combined board using Paper Artsy stamps, Isa made the pieces with the women on them, I made the men and the central piece and board. It was great fun to make and finally put together when Is sent me her contribution.

And a photo of the box I created TWO XMAS'S AGO (lol- never lose heart lol) for the Gypsy art call.....
The saying from the inside of the locket says
" Our hearts are full of wonder, and our souls deep within our dreams...Gypsy saying" . The stamp is 'Gypsy' by Beeswax.
