What's Black, White and Red Owl over?

I injured my back and knee a little while ago and have been out of action as it were. But I'm back now, things are easing up a little.

Today Stampotique are beginning a month of sponsoring the Less is More challenge. The theme this morning (we thought) was Black, White and one other Colour...

 infact it isn't...

*doh*

 It's Red White and Blue!

The girls over at LIM (in all the Jubilee chaos and excitement) forgot to mention the change of colour theme to the Stampotique girls, so if you visit any of the Stampotique blogs, they are not colour blind, they were just running with a different colour theme lol

I chose the Wee Owl, Splatter Long and Five Petalled Flower to use along with some doodling. So here's my little guy...

Not a hint of blue in sight lol... (maybe you could pretend the flowers are blue perhaps...I would have coloured them blue this morning and redone the photos, but my camera battery is flat)

I shall try and add the blue once my camera has recharged. A simple start back (as tend to be the requirements for a LIM design as two thirds of the card is left white).... I do have more complex pieces on the way :0)

EDIT TO SAY.... All done...added newsprint (to suit the title joke and some blue...now I can relax lol)

And a closer look...

Great to see you back, but sorry to hear the reason you'd been away. I had thought you were at your Mediterranean villa and blissfully out of reach of the internet.

Great card! Happy Jubilee Weekend from our little corner of the Commonwealth to yours.

Just been doing some red white and blue of my own, but it's not a LIM version!

I like both versions of this. The design looks so simple but looks like it tok a long time to make.

Glad to see you back creating again. We've missed you on the forum.
