Paperbag Studios, Tim, a sandwich bag and a bit of tissue paper
An unusual combination, but all of the above is what you will need if you fancy making something along the lines of what appears on the cover of the November issue of Craft Stamper.
To say I was really pleased was an understatement!! I was so suprised to see my card on the front of the mag, plus it means I can use the 'loop hole rule' of actually getting to show a published piece on my blog by showing the magazine cover!!
To see all four cards please grab an issue from Craft Stamper, Happy Daze, The Craft Barn or Crafty Individuals. For a copy in The Netherlands, Art Journey stocks the magazine.
Stamps used for the article are available from Paperbag Studios, Craft Barn and Happy Daze.
I hope you liked it if you have already got your copy.

Always nice to have work on the cover....congrats! It looks great!
I just got my copy in the mail and I knew as soon as I saw it that the cover art just had to be yours! I really loved the ideas, not to mention their execution, and am really looking forward to trying them out. Congratulations, Cover Girl! :-)
PS. Thank you for putting the "a" in "aisles". I have noticed in a lot of blogs lately that I have been directed to shop in one isle or another. While these locales usually sound temptingly exotic and a highly desirable vacation destination, especially the "stamp isle", my inner stickler refuses to find the money for that sort of travel, as I fear trying to find the fabled Stamping Isle, would be like trying to find the Kingdom of Prester John....
Got my copy a few days ago, and LOVED the samples you made, Must try this, though I did try the tissue technique on my challenge tag! Fab inspiration as per!
Hi
Your art deserved to be the cover art.
I love to use tissue paper (stamping and staining it) on my artwork so your art definitely appealed to me.

You have to see this project in the magazine to get the true quality of the project - the soft colouring and layers are gorgeous. The tissue really makes a difference.
