Life Happens...

Its my turn over on the Art Journey blog today to say a little about myself...along with photos from the 80's (talk about big hair !) up until now lol

http://artjourneydesign-team.blogspot.com/2011/04/jo-c-s-intro-life-happens.html
I hope you enjoy it if you pop on over there for a look.

Here are a couple of Art Journey pieces using their new images. The first (above), a totally unintentional connection but quite in keeping with 'Life Happens', using the Lady Clock plate.

The card below has a main image from the Boys plate.

Thank you to everyone on Facebook (I don't visit FB often as I don't find it easy to work...see I AM getting REALLY old!) and in real life for the birthday wishes this week.

Wishing you all a very happy Easter weekend.

Yes I read that on the other blog too. I love the Stampotique stamps and the Art journeys too. Your own designed motivs are so gorgeous! Soon my stamp friend and I in germany will order again.
Your creative art work is so inspiring for me I love to visit your blog!
Wish you Happy Easter,
hugs Anja

Hi Jo! Nice to "meet" you! I enjoyed that brief autobiography, even if there wasn't a recent picture. I will just have to use my mind's eye, in which you are very lovely in an arty sort of way. And even though that forum of introduction is more suited to the glossy highlights of a life, I suspect that all the other bits, the tears and sorrow, joys and laughter, rage and delight, find their way into your art. And I am deeply grateful that you do share your art with us! And I will close with that, having beguan an appalling number of sentences with "and" (how those colonials do torture your mother tongue!).
PS. Wishing you a very happy birthday! I will be seven years behind you in a couple of months and haven't quite reconciled myself to that yet... I think I may just stop counting and just accept presents.

Inspirational cards Jo. It's always a great pleasure to work with your stamp designs. Hope there are many more to come!
Remember age is 'just' a number!

I can't understand at all why you would think I am crazy...
however your triyyptyych card(I am SO fed up with trying to spell that word correctly so I give up!) was magnificent and very very cute and these are all very lovely too, and in your Less is More post a bit further down you ask the question "Too simple to blog?" and the answer from me is that; I am also simple but I blog so I think you are probably safe to also blog Jo.....LOL,
Oh come on! it was a gift of a set up line, simply irresistible mwah!
