CAS PAINT!

Do they go together?

Clean and simple

....and PAINT?!

A bit of a contradiction maybe, but I've tried to keep it as clean as possible.

Well as I'm up to my eyes in deadlines and completing things at the mo, I'm really into these quickmake CAS cards. And paint!

Gingersnap Creations are running a GCSP#07 Once in a Blue Moon challenge where you can choose from any of the past themes listed...so I chose the paint theme from last August GC#66.

Here I used all Paperbag Studios stamps...Empty, Way We See and 995

Next I used the Large Butterfly from Stampotique along with Paperbag Studios Formula.

And finally more Stampotique Originals stamps (Simplicity and Little Friends Tiny

Stamps are available from the individual stamp companies themselves(see all links to stamps above- Stampotique and Paperbag Studios) or from Happy Daze here in the UK.

These work fabulously. Who would have put paint with CAS (except you!).
My thoughts with you regarding your Mum. I lost mine 3 years ago and still miss her very much. xx

I am all for the paint...spent all day today throwing it around...laying the cards on my workdesk and ..wwwhoooosching,,,the paint across, up and down and of course, a bit of spritzi-spritzi. Works for me:) Your cards look fabulous!

All of these work amazingly well but the final card in particular is a stand-out.It looks as though the children are standing on a sand dune with the sky and sea behind them.

I ditto Stampdiva's comments. These cards are all great but I love the last one Jo. Those streaks of paint are brilliant.

Thanks for your words of encouragement over 'THE OUTFIT'! I'll keep you posted, lol!

Hi Jo, love this paint effect and you've pulled it off with panache! My Favourite is the last, where the little group are standing on the red, simply perfect.
Every time I try, I get a big blob or the swipe's the wrong shape, I know, I'm trying too hard. Wish I was closer to you you could put me right in one of your super classes. Ah!maybe one day :0)xxx

Tons and tons of comments on these gorgeous cards. I can see why too, I love how you swiped a bit of paint and then stamped over it. It's genius!! The color combination is wonderful as well. The one stamp of the three little kids on the red paint, that looks like those kids were printed right on that spot, perfect fit. Looks amazing Jo.
