Workshop or 1:1 class?

Over the past few months I've had a few people writing to enquire whether or not I take classes at all, so I thought I'd test the water to see if I could gather either a little group together for a regular monthly relaxed session of stamping and mixed media, covering a wide range of themes, or if indeed you would prefer 1:1 stamping sessions (whether you are just starting out or would like to branch out into a different area that you feel I could be of any help with).

I'm not sure how many south coast stampers there are in the area, we are few and far between I think (I say 'we'- I'm a northerner living down south lol), but I thought it might be nice to see if anyone is out there who fancied the idea.

If you would be interested in attending initially either a group workshop or a 1:1 session from 10am - 1pm once a month on a Thursday, just outside Brighton on the south coast- nearest train station is Lewes, East Sussex (approx 5 minutes drive from where the classes will be held), please email me with your details at:

jcsworkshop@hotmail.co.uk

- thanks.

I haven't got anything more than that together just yet... all the fine tuning will come in the next few weeks etc.

Apologies to my stamping friends in the north- if I was any further away you'd need a passport...but hopefully if all goes well I have an opportunity later in the year which involves a spot of demoing in the north west.

you know I'd be there like a shot if you weren't so many millions of miles away!! I would love to see how you create, and find out how it differs to my way of working.

I also would have loved the opportunity of taking your classes but live too far away. But am wishing you lots of luck, not that you will need it and have loads of fun. Annette x

It seems from all the comments you need to move North, Jo. I'd be there like a shot but live in West Yorkshire. Good Luck with it all though.

No move east, Norfolk is beautiful. I am sure that you don't need good luck as your classes will be jammed full with a waiting list.

Just going to see how far Norfolk is from Lewes, - might persuade OH to take a holiday your way.

Just need Mr CP to baby sit a trailer load of my chickens LOL!

I would love to have a class - and my passport is right up to date! As soon as I win the lottery, I will be on the plane to Heathrow, then the train to Lewes, with my trunk of stamping gear at my side. (Probably best not to pencil it into your diary until I get confirmation of the win.)

Jo, Happy New Year to you! If I lived even 100 miles from you I would come on over to hang out with you and make some stamping art with you, it would not only be fun but it would be an honor. Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the pond.

I'd be there like a shot too Jo if I didn't live in North Notts. Moira (Happy Daze) asked me a while ago if I'd be interested if you did a class up this way. My reply ....... Would I !*!*!

If you did one Norfolk way it might be doable too 'cos I could always cadge a bed with my buddy Judith (@poppycottage), Lol!

I'm sure your classes will go well where you are but I'll keep my fingers crossed for the chance to attend one nearer my neck of the woods.......... unless I win the lottery of course!

Hugs

Your classes look amazing! I've checked with my husband and we don't currently have plans to be in the south of England on any of those dates. Lottery plans are progressing slowly (largely due to lack of ticket purchases unfortunately). Your projects look wonderful and the descriptions so tantalizing (and not just because I have no idea what squash is - I presume you aren't serving coffee and tea with enormous fall gourds, but if you are, I'm sure your slavish devotees would snaffle them up and think, how original!). Well, I should sign off before I have myself completely ensnared in punctuation atrocities. Have a great time at the classes and know that I will be desperately trying to project myself astrally across the Atlantic to be there (even if it would mean I couldn't eat/drink any squash).
