GC#73 Going Gothic with Gingersnap.
Back on the Gingersnap Creations crew after taking a six month break and what is the first theme? Gothic Elements! Excellent! :0) So I decided to run with the lighter side of the doom and gloom element of the Goth subculture and make this Batty Goth card using a selection of Stampotique stamps.
Here I used Mink, Batty (well I cut of his wings and attached them to Mink-
OUCH!!!), Swirl Stalks (I love using this stamp as its and excellent space filler), French Text and 'Batty About You'.
The crackle effect is obtained by applying Silver Croco Crackle onto card with the side of my finger :0). Nothing too technical! lol.
Gingersnap Creations would love to see contributions from you using any Gothic infuences. There are some fabulous takes on the theme from members of the Gingersnap DT so please take a look. Lots of time to have a think before the challenge closes and perfect timing ahead of Hallowe'en.
All stamps can be purchased from Stampotique in the USA or Happy Daze here in the UK.

Wow! Can't decide what I like best - the ultra cool bat girl, the awesome background or the great frame! Love it all!
Big welcome back, Jo!
I love how you have used Batty's wings, fab idea. Love that stamp as a filler too, works beautifully and the colour combination is wonderful. Tracy Evans x
Okay...I know I usually love everything you make but I have to say I think this is my very favorite to date. I love the colors used, I love the textures and basically the whole composition of it. You have such a knack for making a card look very difficult like it took you days to make. You always add just the right touches to perfect the card. Love it!!!
I agree with everyones comments above, this is totally terrific. x
Wow, I love the crackle background that looks super cool!
Simply brilliant - what a great card! Glad to hear I'm not the only person who uses her finger as an occasional spatula! Jo x
