Going all Girly with Stampotique.

The latest challenge from the team at Stampotique Designers Challenge blog is hosted by Kim Prince who chose the theme 'Its a Girl Thing'. Now, I don't really do classic girly cards so this was indeed a challenge for me.

Here you can see what finally emerged from the second or third attempt. This was as feminine as my contribution was going to get so I ran with this whilst the going was kind of ok. I was trying to get the feel of creating a sweet countryside girl. I decided to use Stampotique's Marci as I felt that her little bows in her hair and her cute little frock were certainly girly.

Thats whats so good about challenge sites though I feel. They stretch your creativity and get you making things for themes you wouldnt ordinarily go towards. That is, unless you only choose challenges that you find easy lol

Fabulous Jo - Funky-Feminine! I think the stampotique images quietly dark in their own way - makes me love them all the more x

Golly she looks just like me after I got a soaking with a hose pipe this morning.

On second thoughts - she is a bit prettier - only because of her long hair.

I simply adore her sweet smile

Its a gorgeous card with a sense of humour - right up my street.

Love the softness of colours along with this image. You should do "don't do classic girly" more often Jo.x
