Its a Gingersnap Wrap!

Today over on Gingersnap Creations I've put together a tutorial for a couple of quick background ideas. This will be my last DT contribution for Gingersnap Creations for a few months (back with them in September) and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Ali, Shar and the team for making my time with them so enjoyable.

If you would like to check out the tutorial please visit here.

The three pieces I put together using the technique are...

(shown above)A splashy fun card featuring a favourite Stampotique character STRUT YOUR STUFF. What attitude! lol

A little card, simple stamping with Stampotique's LITTLE FRIENDS onto matt and layering and a couple of blossoms stacked up ontop of each other. Would make a handy thankyou or notelet.

And finally a much larger card featuring Be Yourself from Autumn Leaves and Pop Stems from Hero Arts.

Jo, these are stunning cards and the tutorial is great - I mean to try this out as soon as I can (don't have any string at the moment!)
Hope the fact that you're not working with gingersnap for a while doesn't mean we'll see less of your brilliant work elsewhere too?

Fan-blooming-fantastic. Thanks for putting up the tutorial - that are such a boon for an old woman with depleted inspiration!

Show me a blank piece of paper and - and it's a reflection of my brain!

Off to plant spuds - but that is an art I am good at.

Hope to have a go at your cards next week - if it rains.

Love it! Another one that I say,"Why didn't I think of that?" It's because I have the same problem as Lottie. I truly appreciate the sharing all of you creative, inspirational people do. By the way, Love, Love, the bird. Gave me a giggle to start my day!

wonderful cards Jo and all different. the girls are right - the ideas seem so obvious when you see them but it takes the true creator to come up with them! off to study the tutorials.

I do adore the first one with the fabulous bird stamp and the way he's walking out of the paint splash!!!

Beautiful and fun work as usual Jo. You know what I love about your cards, there is a simplicity to them, but that's not to suggest that they are simple, they just have a simple elegance to them. They always look just put together so well. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you make what is probably hard work and hard techniques look "simply elegant always". Thanks for the continued inspiration which I've gotten a lot from you lately.

Lovely cards, nice tutorial...like the string,,I have done the same sort of effect with white or gold wax crayon...using a metallic gives a nice effect with the lines.
