Good things come in small packages...

...or big packages, I'm not fussy lol, as long as our postie keeps on delivering my art bits and bobs I don't mind.

Yesterday I recieved a few items from Happy Daze to play with, amongst which was this tiny box canvas. Over at Happy Daze they also have the little tiny easels to display your mini canvases once finished, but I have one of those weird aversions to mini easels (like people have to clowns or belly buttons ...ah, belly buttons, well we wont talk about those lol or woodlice rofl)...which do look really cute but are just not for me, so I turned my canvas into a hanging.

The image I used is by Lost Coast. Its called Head in Hands and is also available from Happy Daze. It looks very different once painted and coloured I think and so you can create either very dramatic 'old film' images in black and white or softer more 21century ones once colour has been added.

Below, you can see the wording on the key (Tim Holtz word key) more clearly, hence the title of the piece - (Memories)- 'All That We Have'. The light had to be quite strong to get the wording to show though and has intensified the blue of the ribbon that holds the key, making it look very stark unfortunately.

Here the photo shows the butterfly's wings a little clearer.

A decorated little stretched box canvas would make beautiful keepsakes don't you think given as a gift and at 65p each for you can't go wrong!

Bargain of the season I think!

Thanks for stopping by. :0)

Oh and Happy Hallowe'en.
