No place...

Here's a hanging made with a few challenge themes in mind.

As you can see I still have the inks and embellishments left out on my table from making the Paperbag Studios house the other day so theres a bit of a common denominator going on as far as colour combinations go.

This piece has a main stamp image from The Stampsmith. The words are printed out using the PC.

The theme over on Mixed Media Monday this week is to 'Play. Have fun with your art, try something different, experiment - enjoy the process. Have fun.' Well I tried but it took so many twists and turns I started to get a little frustrated with the whole thing. It was meant to be a notebook...how far removed would I like to get rofl..

The Sunday Stamper has a theme of Home...so this being No Place Like Home fits well. Hels over at SS is also giving away a huuuuuge amount of blog candy.

TGiF has Red Flowers...so this is my second piece for that (have really been influenced by that theme this week...ordinarily I would never/rarely create with red flowers.)

And last but not least, a second contribution to Wednesday Stampers 'Colourful' theme.

EDIT* Forgot to say...its another acetate piece :0) Not easy to tell from my photos.

Quite a combo of fun challenges Jo!
Your Dorothy is really wonderful, great details. Funny how things sometimes take on a life of their own when we're creating isn't it!

I have always really enjoyed these pieces that you do on acetate backgrounds. I personally think that the Wizard of Oz should take on a whole new life of it's own and become a trend to all of us mixed media artist's just like Marie Antoinette did.

Jo, I love the red in this.
