Its a game of two halves...

This is my contribution to a forum swap hosted by Sid in which we are given a two piece jigsaw to transform.
I just HAD to use the gorgeous image of a little girl given for this weeks Art Creations Friday (thankyou Hermine). The background was inspired by a continuation of the games theme which is "Bingo" over on Crazy Amigos, "Games We Play" over on Saturday Suprise and "Sports" over on One Powerful Hour and last but not least "Fun and Games" over on Gingersnap Creations. So thats a five in one plus a swap! :0)))

EDIT** Its just occurred to me that instead of being a tennis racket as I'd thought, this maywell be a butterfly net ....lol....oooops... what do you reckon? Maybe fishing? In which case I'm still ok on the sports front as Fishing is still a sport lol (*grasps at straws lol*)

Butterfly catching is a national sport of Madagascar. :)
She's one determined young lady, I bet she won whatever it was.
Great crackled background.

5 in 1? genius. Lovely result. I think in its time, butterfly chasing was probably a game/sport! It's art..by definition it doesn't have to be literal!!

It's lovely, I really like the crumbly crackled paint edges, very cool. Even butterfly hunting could be a sport, right? Not being an athlete I even think walking is 'sporty' :)

Hi Jo! As always I am inspired by your artwork and kicking myself that I don't visit more often. I need all the inspiration that I can get!! Love the crackled aged look you've created. Brilliant entry for all of the various challenges this week.

She is wonderful...and I am officially making Bugtterfly catching a sport :) After all you have to run and have good aim.

I love the old feel you gave the piece and the colors are perfect.

Thanks for taking the challenge.
