Spiders, Stripes and Stampotique

This weeks Wednesday Stamper is Spiders. So I couldn't not use these Stampotique Originals stamps could I, even though I'm up to my eyes in real life things at the moment :0)

Here I used Mr Stripes and the letter S for the background and Spider Girl for the main image. The main piece is mounded onto an opaque piece of acetate so I photographed it ontop of ribbon so you could see that.

The One Powerful Hour challenge theme is Stripes this week. So as the girl has striped tights and Mr Stripes is in the pic I thought this would fit there too.

All stamps used are from Stampotique. Also available from The Stamp Attic here in the UK.

I knew I'd love this as soon as I saw the title in my google reader. Nice soft colours even though they're reds and oranges, good to see a red edging (instead of gold) and I like the use of the ribbon across the back (? to emphasise the acetate)
Lovely!!

This is brilliant Jo, a really happy smillie piece, even if it has spiders on it.

That girl has attitude - but in a nice way - love the idea of taking a spider for a walk.

Gorgeous colours - perfect.

I too am up to my eyes in real life - it does tend to get in the way of crafting doesn't it LOL
