Craft Stamper July
'In To The Wilderness'.
Craft Stamper is on sale today for those that dont sub (for those that do you will have had the magazine for a week already this month :0) ) and its another fabulously creative issue.
I have the last of my three part Mixed Media 'series' in which I finish with a 3D piece using a birdcage (about the size of an average womans outstretched hand), a twig from the garden, blossoms and gems and lots of messy paint.
Here are a few sneak peeks as the magazine doesnt allow full shots.
I really hope the series has encouraged a few of you to have a go at creating your own versions of one or two of the types of ideas I've shown over the past few months. Its been good for me too and certainly a challenge having to step back from what I'm doing when creating something and to analyse it and write it down, something which, when I was asked to do the projects, I wasnt sure how I'd conquer doing so.
Please check out The Stamp Attic for stamps I used or the magazine details for further listings.

Yippee close ups. I got my magazine today and saw your beautiful 'lady' cage. I am so glad you have put these photos on your blog because although it looked gorgeous in the magazine - I really wanted to see the finite details - and blow me - here they are.
There has been a tremendous amount of work gone into this hasn't there - which is so apparent with the close up views.
Must have taken you days. I love the antique look to it. It would have been great to see the bare before!
I have enjoyed your mixed media etc articles and will continue to practice them. It's really useful having the links to the sites you used too - especially for the collaged pages.
Must dash
Woo hoo, mines arrived today, can't wait to have a flick through tonight. As soon as I read bird cage lol that was me sold. Can't wait to see this in its full glory Jo,your blog pics look amazing:):)

The article is fantastic, words fail me. You are soooo creative and give me and many others insipiration. I too am glad you've put the photos on your blog because I like to see all the detail. Ann xx
these shots are fabulous! off to have a look at the mag now ;-)
Fab piece Jo, love all the texture and detail that's gone in to this. Once question occurred to me when I saw it in the mag though - what does she look like from the back?!
Loved the series of work you have done for Craft Stamper and I watch your blog as you do such great work. I look forward to each issue as its the only magazine in this country really that caters for us crazy people who "don't do decoupage" but like making mad items and a lot of mess :-) Keep up your great work. If you have time I would be honoured to get a visit from you at my Blog

just to say i get this magazine each month and just realised you had left comment on my blog wow talk about honoured someone like you who is super talented loved your series in the magazine, it inspired me to make a tim holtz clock card that to be honest I am really plesed with its one of his masks and then using the direct to paper with his distress pads. if it was not for the magazine I would not have found craft individuals and papre artsy as I use them an awful lot i just love how they work so well together i am at moment trying out an atc using one of the techinques in this weeks magazine.
anyway your article is stunning loved the cage I am in awe of your work its so creative i am now a folower and bless your heart for commenting on my work youve made my day lots love cheryl xxxxxxxxxx
Fabulous projects - thanks so much for sharing close-ups too :)
I loved this project in CS Jo - the only trouble is that now I keep looking for hardware to alter!!! As if I don't already have far too much craft stash in my little flat. Can't wait to see your next projects - hope there's more to come.
I have been fortunate enough to see your last two articles in the Craft Stamper and I'm hoping to see the third. Jean and Malcolm from Crafty Individuals have been sending me the issues and I can't tell you how much I love this magazine. They do not have a Stamper magazine like this one in the States that's for sure. The artwork in Craft Stamper and the Design Team is off the charts talented. I just devour each page. I've told you before Jo, but I get an incredible amount of inspiration from your work and your blog. Congrats on the three part series.

This looks great, I love the mesh and the decorative metal work on the cage.

Hello Jo - thanks so much for visiting my blog. I have followed your work for ages and am dead chuffed that a famous person has visited. I'm not even going to think about a bird cage at the minute - not while the houses are on the go - but who knows - lol. Take care ....
