Fridays TGiF is Striped Trousers- a theme for which I had time to think about and bat a few ideas around in my head over the weekend whilst we had family staying with us.
So this evening I thought I'd make a pair of trouses (coat, hat and shoes too) for 'Leeta' one of the most recent releases from Stampotique.
Heres how she started off- just a head..
and heres what she looks like now, complete with body and outfit lol
Great fun, especially working the background- paint, inks, sprays, scraping, finger painting, and rubons all onto a factory clocking on card.
Her trousers, coat, hat and shoes were drawn freehand in a wiggly way to match the face using a black Pentel .5mm pen. Brads for buttons.
Stamp available from Stampotique in the USA or The Stamp Attic in the UK.

As usual Jo, you have created a masterpiece.....very Lowry I think, especially with the clocking in card background !
so completely original and so ingenious....love it!
Jo,Jo,Jo, how do you do it?
You make it appear to be effortless. The ideas, the drawing, the painting, the texture - brilliant
That stamp really 'grows' on me the more I see it - especially how you use it.

not sure if I like those Stampotique girls (they´re still too cute for me though I know that sounds strange), but I definitely love what you´ve done with her!
Great outfit for Leeta! Very Dickensian, she might just pick a pocket or two. :)
Brilliant (as usual, Ma'am!)!
Brilliant way to show off the stamp, but the background is what caught my eye. It has so much detail, colour and texture. Lovely.
