Sketchbook/Notebook ISC

The new challenge from the blog over at Innovative Stamp Creations is to create an 'All About Me' book or a book to sketch card ideas into or a book for thoughts or receipes. Unfortunately I dont sketch my card ideas/sketches or have the skills involved to compile book which reflects things about me- I'm not that open about myself- perhaps thats a British thing...so instead I created a book for scribbles/inspirations that come into my head that I think of along the way that might be handy to remember and integrate into my mixed media work one day.

The rules are:
Create a mini sketch book and upload to your blog and/or on line
gallery for a chance to WIN a free plate from ISC! Check out
the samples by the Creative Architects for inspiration.
Use ISC stamps only on your design, then post your link in the comments
section. A random name will be chosen and announced on the blog.
You have until Sunday August 17, 2008 to create/post your link on the
ISC blog. Search for label ISCC10. We can't wait to see what you come
up with!

As Crazy Amigos is an open theme this week I thought a notebook would be something different to contribute.

The look of this book was inspired by the garden at my new house...its very peaceful, full of butterflies (also the house name has a butterfly connection) and you totally forget all about the time.

The plate I used was this one...

one of the recently released plates from ISC. This has so much milage and for anyone who makes atc and mini books is a must have. And I have to say, as a fan of dandelion clocks (seed head of a dandelion) this is my favourite most clear stamp of a dandelion clock I own....and I have a few lol (can be seen on the inside page stamped in lilac)

this is lovely.

and I hate it when people say this to me, but you could totally sell that in a little boutiqey gift shop.

I would be scared to use it though, for fear of spoiling it somehow....

Wow Jo this is simply stunning, more of a keepsake book to treasure rather than using for scribbles or sketches. :o)
