Craft Stamper

Today (July 4th) is the on sale date for the latest (August) edition of the UK stamping magazine Craft Stamper. I've been really looking forward to receiving my copy as I was recently asked to freelance for the magazine which I'm very excited about and this issue carries my first article with them.

Due to the rebuild of the new house I havent been taking on too much (well that was the intention lol)but its always very difficult when someone tempts you with stamps or challenges..or both lol

The new look to the magazine is very fresh, with stamping ideas and tips for a very wide range of crafters- from those just beginning to experienced stampers. Just what the UK needed- a magazine not just full of basic ideas but one that takes stamping through all levels.
I was inspired by the use of the free stamp ...a fabulous collection by Katy and Michelle, and once again my friend Isa Norris and I also appear in the same magazine, Isa producing a wonderful masterclass and article with style, as always.

I'm allowed to reveal a little of my 'At The Waters Edge' article (I made 5 items in total) - so I've chosen a section of my main piece using stamps from Paper Artsy and an image by Inka Stamps....

Its been a long time since I picked up a magazine from the UK and enjoyed it as much. If you get chance to pick up a copy, its well worth a look at the way its changed.

It's a superb article, a jewel in the crown. Love all the created pieces. The magazine looks so much better after the change of power.

I agree with you and Galina (I see that Galina is still under the snow LOL). It's a really nice magazine, improved a lot and the artwork you submited is beautiful (isn't it always?? you never disappoint). I'm so glad we are published on the same mag again...

Hi Jo,

I will look for the magazine here in the U. States. I know I have bought it at the book store.

How is the house progressing?

I really enjoyed your article, and plan to try the technique with the watercolour crayons. I love new background techniques! I hope you (and Isa, too) are involved regularly in the new-look magazine; it's about time we in the UK had a magazine which showcases British talent.
