Afternoon Tea...Inka style

I received some wonderful complimentary stamps from Inka (thankyou very much indeed Inka) and so had to use them straight away of course- as luck would have it Mixed Media Monday are running a 'Lets Have Tea' theme this week. This is the first time I've taken part in the challenges over at MMM, but was a perfect opportunity to try out the new range of stamps. Please click on the image to see more details.

I was thinking along the lines of strawberry jam, clotted cream and butter all piled up inside a homemade scone, summer showers etc ie typical Devonshire cream tea.

I love the colours in this, the strawberry pennants have a real 1950s feel to them. Fun use of the umbrella, too!

Jo, this is an absolutely beautiful banner. It made me hungry too! I didn't have a buttery scone with jam and cream but I did have a stale old fruit one. It just wasn't the same! lol

Hi Jo, it's all my fault, but please blame "The Stiggy."

I love the colors you used. I regret losing the concept of an English Tea along with our other revolution.

Jo, I don't know if you participate in the blog awards that are passed around but I did want to pass one on to you. I come here often because I find you a real source of inspiration. I just wanted to let you know that.
