In all my(albeit short) experience in blog world, I have NEVER had such difficulty photographing a piece of work to show. I made this yesterday as contribution for this weeks wednesday Stamper....68 photos later I'm still not exactly happy as its lost so much colour and detail of the artwork as it is in real life. Really fed up with taking photos now, so I'm afraid this will have to suffice- hand and all lol. The close up shot is truer in colour and detail.... I think...although I've looked at so many now I'm beginning to question that too lol, so before I change my mind totally, I'll post it quickly rofl
EDIT: The background was created using a large selection of stamps ...my fave being my new sun stamp :0)))

I can see how this could be challenging to photograph. So glad that you managed to do so...fantastic piece in every way.
GORGEOUS!!! Imagine what it look like in real life!!
Gorgeous!
Yuo did a wonderful job again Jo!!
Wow great colours Jo. Love it!
Brilliant, fab colours
Beautiful stamping and the colours are divine:)
This is just gorgeous!
So dreamy & water filled perfect for us Pisceans!
I have had dreadful problems getting colours to come out the right shade in photos & eliminate shine on metal bits. Sadly the light is against us, either too bright or too dark. The flash ruins some work when it reflects back too.
Great tryptich, love the colours!
amazing background...love how youve done it.Would love to see it IRL.
What a fantastic fish stamp - I love all the colouring and the acetate is inspired :)
This is absolutely smashing Jo!! love it!
OH Joe!!!!! Its simply stunning..
I LOVBE this ..
I like this best out of all my blog visits this week
LOL know just what you mean about the photos Jo. Just can't quite get it right sometimes. This is brilliant. I love the way you use acetate in your work and the touch with the way the fish is swimming into the scene is genius.
Oh gosh, I know what you mean by having a tough time snapping a pic. The other day I was trying to take a pic of something w/glass and kept getting a wicked reflection which in turn made me wicked! Regardless of the photo quality, your fish collage is beautiful!
Smiles-

Wow! This is fantastic - so much detail and subtlety!
amazing artwork! the colors, details and design are just beautiful!
I had the same problem this week with my tyrptich, the color on one panel didn't come out true to the way it was. It came out much lighter than IRL.
I love yours and love love that sun, gorgeous look of that stamp.
Superb work, Jo, love the fish swimming into the tryptich.
Elegant and mystic.
G'day Jo
Love your fishy tryptich especially on the acetate - makes for such a dreamy look ... also love the stamped background ... Could you please tell me what you used for your white scroll look, that ties it all together - to me it looks like it could be done with a punch??? If you have the time could you let me know, please also if a punch what brand, etc - I feel it might be a something I reallllly need, lol ... tar from the Land Down Under ... OOroo ... Bethel
