Last Minute Lil

Woke up this morning to the thought of 'aaaggghhh I forgot her birthday!!'...so I quicky made this just using the items already on my desk lol....does that give you an indication of how much is piled up infront of me on 'the mound' rofl...its getting a little bit like a Tombola at the village fete....dip my hand in and see what I get rofl

Anyway, that said its turned out to be quite a peaceful looking card I think.

The image of the beautiful looking woman is from the Paperbag Studios collage sheet called 'Sharon'. The range of Paperbag Studios collage sheets can be seen at Stamp Diva.
The clear torn panel you see under the image tag is mica, which softened the background and gave the image more of a chance so they didnt end up competing with each other.

And as it has a buttons suspending the ribbon, I thought it might be in keeping with this weeks Daring Cardmakers challenge which is ........'buttons'. :0)

Please click onto the images to enlarge.(this first image inparticular looks so much better bigger)

The framed composition is mounted onto an acetate card, but I wasnt sure that was too visible on the first image so true to form heres a little side view lol :0)

Wow...this is absolutely striking! I love the addition of the mica...especially since it's cut in such an irregular pattern. The detailing and added embellishment for the butterflys body is just beautiful. You amaze me with your astounding talent!!
