Paper Artsy Design Team 'Play Day'

WOW What a fantastic day out I've had today.
Dave offered to 'run the gauntlet' for me otherwise known as the M25 and travel the 170mile round trip to Brentwood in Essex, the home of Paper Artsy, for the DT day. So we loaded the van complete with kids and picnic and hit the road.

Set in a wonderfully chilled out area its a perfect place to sit and create.

So whilst I did just that Dave took the boys for lunch and left me to it.(xx)

The day was fabulous with lots of tips and demos hosted by Leandra. One day, I too will have a craft room like this lol!

Time to return home and I left with lots of inspiration and a free goodie bag full of stamps (inc all the new nature plates !) , German scrap (almost 30 sheets), magazines, catalogues, hints and tip info and more!!

On the way back we had to go over the Thames via the bridge at Dartford (we used the tunnel on the way there as you do) and I had to grab a couple of pics.

Thankyou very much to the Franich family for being such wonderful hosts. It was great to meet some new faces and also to chat to familiar ones ;0)

And thanks to Dave and my boys for all that driving and for being so patient xxxx

Hi. Just came across your blog - you've got some really good art on here. What made me smile though are the photos of the QE bridge. Not far from me, something I use on a regular basis and take for granted, strange seeing it through someone elses eyes.
