WHAT'S THE TIME.......

Mr WOLF???!!!!

This weeks Wednesday Stamper is 'Games', so I decided to go with the childrens classic 'Whats the time, Mr Wolf', where some one plays the wolf and a group of children creep up behind asking what the time is...10 o'clock....11 o'clock...of course, when its DINNER TIIIIIIME everyone runs away screaming for their lives in the thrill and excitement of 'worry' over the thought of being gobbled up by Mr Wolf. I remember this being lots of fun when I was a little girl....the same kind of feeling you get from 'this little piggy went to market' and the anticipation of the tickle lol. The old classic games are the best lol

This is a large piece of work measuring in at 30cm (12") x 16cm(6" ish lol).I used Brilliance Crimson Copper for the main letters and background stamping.
Stamps are by Paper Artsy (numbers background stamp) and the letters used for Tick Tock are stamped and cut out...they are by MM.The pocket watch is by All Night Media and the Time stamp is by BeesWax.....lol think thats it lol

A very special piece, Jo, I love especially the wolf. I remember we´ve had a similar game when I went to school but don´t know its name (but there hasn´t been a wolf in the German version ;-))

Jo-
Mom and Ian will be in Ayr - that is where my Dad's family are from and most of his cousins reside (Prestwick, Ayr, Saltcoats) she also hopes to get him to Arran, and to London for a few days. I went to all these wonderful places at age 10..and dragged to many a castle too! I would rather have it chilly then 90 degrees (record highs in Michigan right now)...have a spiffy weekend :)

Ooh! this is so fabulous. The wolf reminds me of one of my favourite books 'Wolfs Hour' by Robert McCammon. Just found your blog today and can't stop looking through it. You are so talented.
