Goodness, it's been a while since I blogged. So long infact I am having to re learn and really think about how to post!!
Hope all are ok and are having a good break from work/school run etc.
Here are a few photos of a little chalk pastel/inks play around I had this afternoon with the stamps and bits and bobs I could reach without breaking a leg by venturing too far into my craft room.
Its been a couple of months short of a whole year *gulp* since I made anything (and so it was good to see the Stampotique theme for the challenge is Anything Goes...
Now, usually I would have trimmed the photo, added my watermark etc etc but my screen on my trusty PC has packed in, so I'm working on a laptop that has none of my little extras I'm used to....apologies. This is a rather tall card so here are some close ups too.
It maybe clearer on the above close up that the back ground was created with pastels and water...with dry pastel and pen added once dry.
Here's the lower part of the card.
All stamps used are produced by Stampotique Originals.
I used
Dandelion Duo,
Fairykeeper ,
one of the hearts from Hearts cubed
and Silence Speaks.
Wishing you all a happy NEW YEAR!!
This is gorgeous Jo!!

P.S. - Was the background down with ordinary chalk pastels (sticks) or did you use pastel paints or inks?
Thank yooou x
ReplyDeleteLottie, it was done with chalk sticks...scribbled and swirled a bit then ran it under the tap for a tiny splash of water, tilted the paper until it ran in to the 'right' place....left to dry. :0)
welcome back, superb tag.EE
ReplyDeleteI was only thinking about you just a few days ago, how lovely to see your post pop up on my blog roll.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the 'how too' Jo - I will have a rummage for my pastels - I know I have some somewhere - sounds like a fun way to play - and boy do I need some fun play time.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't pop up again before then - wishing you and yours a great New Year - and overindulge in the spirits department or me on the night pretty please as I don't drink.
