I'm torn...

Its HOT HOT HOT this morning...phew!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a 'heat person'...got the fan blasting at me, doors and windows are open, can't see the screen on my pc that well to upload decent photos so apologies if they are too dark or bright.

This morning Less is More have a theme of Tearing.

Love it.

So whilst I'm sitting waiting at the table for some DT stamps to arrive,( inks in hand etc) I thought I'd make a couple of cards and take part.

I used my 'World All Her Own' stamp from Stampotique along with this branch stamp by Memory Box. The torn area is created by using two torn strips of paper and using them as a mask, blending ink in between the paper leaving a torn effect.

Whilst I was 'in the zone'  lol I made another...same method only using Memory Box's trees and Stampotiques 'Even Silence Speaks'.

I hope you like them , thanks for visiting.

KEEP COOL!!!

  15. Stunning! These are so elegant and beautiful. I can't believe it's a hot day. Somehow, whenever I try to make something on a hot day it invariably winds up wrinkled and smudged and grubby. I think I might only be able to manage something clean and crisp like this in a surgically sterile environment, properly gowned and gloved. Hope it cools down tonight for you!

  34. Love the second piece a lot, but you would know that. The sentiment is the one I share. LOve the minimalist style and the deceptive simplicity.

  35. Jo, these are beautiful. I love the way the shading in the first card gives emphasis to the sentiment, and in the second creates part of the scene. Thanks for the inspiration and congratulations for being highlighted on Less Is More!
