A Colour Explosion
This week the theme over on the Wednesday Stamper. is FABULOUSLY COLOURFUL
I made this colourful card for my friend Joanne using one of the new releases from Stampotique Originals- 'Jo's Flower Cube' and 'A Little Garden'.
I hope you like it....something a bit light and with a fresh feel about it on what has been another beautiful sunny day here in the UK.
Oh, and talking of colourful, I meant to post this the other week and it totally skipped my mind. Again all Stampotique.
If you think its a little 'not quite right' compositionally, it's because I stamped the XO's upside down and had to pull the whole thing apart and re position lol...*doh!*
This is how I'd originally planned it(you can just about see the letters are the wrong way around)... heehee, maybe I'd better pay more attention when I'm stamping next time.
Stamps available from Stampotique and Happy Daze. Links are available on the left sidebar.
These are both great - love the funky flowers from your flower cube! Jo x
ReplyDeleteLove the colours - both pieces are fab!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Jo. The colour combo on the first is something I would never have thought of - it works so well. It has also made me add another stamp to my wish list! Oh dear! Love the vibrancy of the second card too.

No wonder Joanne loved her card, it's beautiful. Love the soft colours enhanced by the black and your flower cube is obviously going to be very useful.
ReplyDeleteLove the boldness of the second card and being the numpty I am I probably wouldn't have noticed the letters were the wrong way round if you hadn't said, I would have been too involved with all the other detail, lol!
Hugs
Lesley Xx
REally lovely! You've really showcased your flower cube and that card, like so many of your projects, makes me think about colours in a new way. I really like that kind of inspiration. Your XO card is fantastic - so bold and textured - I just want to touch it!
