Be Mine

Bee Mine...(be mine...get it?)

An early Valentine card idea.

Big Bee and Kisses from the Jo Capper-Sandon range at Stampotique, also available from Happy Daze here in the UK and Art Journey in the Netherlands. Inks used are the new range from Jenni Bowlin, also from Moira at Happy Daze and are fast becoming a favourite of mine.

ps...edit to say...the Kisses stamp is shown as stitches.

  3. Your "B" is a very clever idea Jo. I think I could cope with producing one of those instead of the yukky slushy cards which I hate lol.

  6. Wonderful card! I love the colours and textures, and, of course, the pun.
I was really hoping not to love the Jenny Bowlin colours - I have sooo many inks already (a weakness of mine).

  17. I love this "Bee Mine" card Jo. The way you did the inks it looks so three dimensional, and that faux stitching is simply awesome! That stitching is all ink pen doodling right? It looks amazing! I love these ink colors myself, the soft pinkish, soft coralish color and the grayish color, are all wonderful together. I'm going to have to get these colors now. Love your work!! Happy New Year to ya.

  20. Oh no! I avoided taking a close look at this range of inks because I have loads of others but these colours are fabulous and I love the depth you've created with them. True artistry! Your bee is pretty fab too.
