And finally...for Mum

I've recently been making some examples using bleach for a tutorial over at Gingersnap Creations.
These can be seen on their site with the exception of one.

This one I kept back.

This one is for my Mum.

For those that are regular visitors to my blog you may have gathered that the past 5 months or so have been up in the air for me. This was due to my Mum suddenly, totally out of the blue, being rushed into hospital in July and spending the most part of 18 weeks in intensive care.

I won't go into detail but sadly at the age of 68 the best Mum in the world, my Mum, passed away and her funeral was held a couple of days ago.

Christmas will be very different for us this year. It was her favourite time.

I'm not normally one for airing my private life online, but would like to take this opportunity to thank those that knew for the huge amount of support, not just from here in the UK but worldwide. It meant a lot, thank you so much.

I hope you like this card.

I know Mum would have said 'Beautiful!!'

Thanks Mum xxxxxxx

Words feel so inadequate in the face of such a loss. We haven't met in person, but we are both daughters and mothers, and it is from that shared experience that I send you my deepest sympathies.
