Royal Purple!

Its challenge time over at the Stampotique Designers Challenge. This week Kim Prince is hosting and has given us the theme of working with PURPLE (SDC#8).
Purple isnt a colour I pick up often when working so it was a change for me to hunt out 'all things purple' to start working, to finally only use a Ranger spray, a Glimmer mist and a few Copics lol.

All the stamps used are Stampotique. As its the second challenge of the month its Stampotique ONLY.

from the Jo Capper-Sandon range I used,
Giant 'Shroom,
Grass,
Splatter Long,
Princess,
Papillon Script,
Starfish
and Crown
along with
Leopard Queen from Daniel Torrente range, all at Stampotique.

Don't forget, Carol at Stampotique is offering a $15 gift certificate to use on rubber over at the shop for a lucky winner drawn at random from those who enter the challenge - the winner will be announced on the challenge blog in two weeks time.

Its a tricky card to show on a blog as its much taller than the size I usually aim for or end up making. Here you can see how tall it actually is...I placed it onto my paper cutter (this was bought for me as a suprise when I first started crafting by my husband after I insisted I didnt need one as I could use scissors lol...how wrong I was). Anyway, I digress, the card is over 11" tall!! (thats just under 30cm for the young crafters amongst us lol)

Stampotique stamps aswell as being available direct from the USA are also available here in the UK at Happy Daze.

  7. Oh this is brilliant Jo. Love how all the images work so well together and although it's definitely purple, you've managed to make it very subtle which is right up my street.

  21. I haven't been on the 'puter for a few days - and blow me down with a feather - you post two amazing cards whilst I took time out.

I so love how you mix and match - and I really do adore that minx of a fairy on top of your schroom. I have all those of your stamps but have admired that 'fairy' since she first came out - I am going to bankrupt myself buying more stamps - but you can't take it with you when you go, so my son keeps telling me!

  23. Fabulous and magical scene, Jo! Love it! The purple makes me think of that wonderful cast of light around twilight that has so much mystery about it.

  24. Jo, I've been meaning to tell you how much I just love this card you've made. I didn't think I liked &/or wanted that fairy until I saw the way you used it. But isn't that always the way, we see the way another artist uses a stamp and the next thing you know, you want to buy it immediately. And it really works so wonderfully with your stamps. This card that you've made is exceptional!!

  26. I just ordered the Leopard Queen and both of your mushroom stamps because I love this card you made so much. I didn't even like the Leopard Queen before I saw this awesome card of yours. Hopefully within a month I can get your daisy's, the star's, grass and bumble bee stamps.
