Art Journey Blog Hop!

Todays the day of the Art Journey blog hop to celebrate the online release of the latest stamps!

If all is running smoothly, you should have reached me having already visited Godelieve. If not, don't forget to check out Godelieves site as her work is always incredible :0)

The new Art Journey stamps are available online as from today. Here you can see a hanging that I recently made using the new winged woman.

This is one of those pieces where in real life its very busy, full of texture and really doesnt need anything else added to it. But on the photograph looks quite bare. :0( The texture really didnt pick up well at all unfortunately.

The picture frame was given a coat of Tattered Rose Crackle Paint and then various inks and embossing powders applied to creat different textures etc. I also used one of the texture sequin waste stamps from a previously released Art Journey plate,Sewing

To follow the trail of Art Journey design team members along the hop please go to fabulous Hillie's blog where she's posted more ideas using the new images.

  4. Absolutely stunning. I love the texture contrasts with the material rose, metals, button, and the sequin waste prints I thought you have done with the real thing, rather than a stamp. The colouring is the 'biz'

You've got me hopping girl - off I go - kangaroo style - cos I am too old to hop on one leg.

Hope you are not too busy being a juggler this half term week.

    I;m off - boing - boing - boing - boing
