I was so excited (Craft Stamper)

...when friends told me that this months Craft Stamper (December issue) has one of my cards on the front cover!

WHAHOOOOOOOOOO!!

This issue of Craft Stamper shows an article I put together using the Noel plate by Art Journey based in the Netherlands. Because magazine companies have to work so far in advance with deadlines, the most recent Christmas stamp images from Art Journey hadn't then been released and so I chose my favourite winter season stamp from previous releases, Noel, to create a card, a tag/decoration and a slide mailer (no glass). I also made another card using a thankyou stamp in the same style and colourway to compliment the Art Journey pieces.

Below is a sneak peek of the front of the slide mailer.

And guess what- that means I'm allowed to show a full image of my card on my blog as its on the cover!

Its an excellent issue again, filled with both Christmassy and non-Christmas articles. I hope you manage to get a copy, its out in the shops here in the UK this Friday, but those that sub are already receiving theirs.

For contents of this issue please look here.

  3. Such a beautiful card, it's hard to believe that image is a stamp. To a newbie stamper who struggles to get a clear image let alone do anything with it - it's mind boggling and gorgeous. Can I ask what you used to colour it?

Congratulations on being on the cover :)

  6. Congratulations!! It looks fabulous Jo! The colours are gorgeous, Christmassy yet untraditional, in fact, thinking about it, very similar to the colours on my Christmas tree so no wonder I like them!!!

  14. Congratulations to you as well. Boy o' boy you sure do make their cover a lot. That's awesome, that must make you so proud. They obviously love your work just like the rest of us. I think Craft Stamper has the most amazing Design Team staff. The projects that are in that magazine all teh time are so over the top wonderful. I personally do not think we have an American magazine that compares.

  29. Congratulations Jo - well deserved your work is so inspiring. One problem, I haven't bought my copy yet, I am off to a craft retreat the weekend after next and I have told myself I must keep the new CS to read on the train. The only way to restain myself means I daren't have it in the house, so my copy is still in the newsagents!!I know I will love looking at your article though.
