A change of pace...and style

I was recently asked to become a member of The Artistic Stamper Creative Team and on Thursday received my first stamps from them, some of which were from the Mabel Lucie Attwell range. These take me back to when I was about 4 or 5 when I used to have the Lucie (I really want to type a 'y' there lol) Attwell annuals at Christmas.

I've tried to work differently to what I've seen done with the stamps so far and given it a bit of a scruffy distressed feel about it. I've combined Attwell designs with a flower from the Stitchels plate.

This is another one of my splashy backgrounds created with Glimmer Mist sprays and I coloured the images with Copic markers. Hoping to get a few more colours for Christmas :0)))

This card is one of a mini range I'm in the middle of creating and so will blog the others once theyre all done. The little dog is quite a cutie and my favourite in the range.

  1. Distressed is best - definitely - and really suits the 'age' of the Lucie books!
