Big markings with the oil pastels and dry brushwork gave two quite different looks.
They started off as ATC's using the splash bg from Hermines blog, (but the only evidence of that now is the pink splash on the girl creation -I'll try again another day to keep it more visible), so the backgrounds of these are essentially oils and gesso.


I had a lot of fun with the oil pastels and really got into applying loads of colour, and now you can hardly see any trace of its original starting point.
And as you can see...they are no longer ATC's either rofl

ReplyDeleteSimply stunning as always, Jo. I love the 2nd one. It looks like it could be a slide card, where the top and bottom pieces are connected underneath and slide up and down behind the image. Is it?
