Victorian Dreamers

This weeks Daring Cardmakers is....

Dry embossing with a light box or with a die cutting machine.
Using embossing powders or triple embossing.
Using pre-embossed papers.
Embossing with found items.

...and I also have a tag swap to take part in hosted by Gillian, which is Vintage Couples (I imagine really that that meant couples as in romance, but I've done that so many times that I chose a slightly different direction using these two adorable girls.)

Bringing the two challenges together, I came up with this tag. The Dream word is embossed using the matt Adirondack powder(denim)...the leaves are stamped in shades of brown and clear embossed, and the lace is stamped onto a light coloured pre inked/printed paper in clear, clear embossed and then wiped with various brown inks to create an impression of aged lace.

Please click onto the tag to enlarge the image.

I'd also like to add that I am so grateful for all the wonderful feedback I have been receiving lately. Thanks to all who visit and take time out to leave a comment, thankyou :0) x
